Thirteen hopeful jockeys have started their training as apprentices in the revamped Apprentice Jockey Training Program (AJTP) by Racing WA. Eleven trainees completed Racing WA’s 12-month Trackwork Rider Training Program (TWTP), which provides industry participants with nationally accredited training and helps them earn their Certificate III in Racing. The graduates of TWTP are now moving forward to pursue a Certificate IV in AJTP, which provides a pathway for riders to enhance their expertise and understanding.
