Emerging Waverley trainer Erin Hocquard will have her first taste of black-type racing when her stable star Spencer (NZ) (Derryn) lines up as favourite in Saturday’s Listed Sinclair Electrical & Refrigeration Opunake Cup (1400m) at New Plymouth.
