Walker calls time on riding career

After riding more than 2000 winners in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, including 25 victories at the highest level, popular jockey Michael Walker has conceded that his career in the saddle is over. Michael Walker forced into retirement due to brain injury

Popular jockey Michael Walker has conceded that his career in the saddle is over after suffering from a debilitating brain injury that he received after a fall at the Pakenham jump-outs in early August last year.
