At Rosehill we saw plenty of runners return from their post-spring spells, with the Silver Slipper Stakes being the highlight race of the day for the two-year-olds. At both Flemington and…

Lightning Jack will contest the Group 1 WFA Classic (1600m) at Otaki on Saturday. Date set for Alexandra Park’s racing return
Racing at Alexandra Park is on target to resume in little over a week. In the meantime all racing there, including last Friday’s Harness Million meeting, was transferred to Cambridge. Under the guidance of Harness Racing New Zealand’s long-serving track and venue inspector John Denton this remedial work is now well underway. A total of 1200 tonnes of product has been removed from the track, and a lime-and base laid in its…
‘Brilliant’ idea!
Club manager Justin Brilliant has divulged the logic behind this afternoon’s full card (12 races) over 485 metres at Horsham. Furthermore, the proof is in the pudding as the meeting attracted 113 nominations for 11 races (excluding the CHS Group final where re-nomination wasn’t required) – more than the club’s average entries for the past few…
