Woodville meeting abandoned
Due to consistent rain and a water-logged track the race meeting at Woodville on Thursday has been abandoned. The track was inspected on Wednesday by the regional track manager and the Racing Integrity Board in coming to this decision, with additional rain in the short-term forecast. New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing will look to enhance stake-money for the final jumps day of the year at the same track on October 2, and cater for as many jumps horses as possible.
