After spending weeks being re-educated as part of the HERO programme, Bordeaux has got a new home. (HERO stands for Harness Education and Re-homing Opportunities). The 10-year-old trotter won 11 races before being retired in March last year. Now he has a new life at HRNZ’s Liz Bishop’s North Canterbury property. She was looking for a new horse as one of her old standardbreds is on the verge of retirement.
