Victorian greyhound racing is set to return to Saturday mornings in exciting news for weekend punters. It all starts up again this Saturday at Shepparton, with the first race to run at 8.30am and the 12th and final race on the card scheduled for 11.30am. Saturday morning meetings have also been allocated to Ballarat (Aug 15) and Bendigo (Aug 22). This is a part of GRV’s recent announcement to increase the state’s racing program from 23 meetings per week to 26.

Potential superstar Zambora Smokey will put his unblemished Warragul record on the line when he spearheads Jason Thompson’s three-pronged assault on Saturday’s Group 3 St Leger (460m). COVID-19 UPDATE – Participants need COVID Safe Plans by Friday
To help stop the spread of COVID-19 in Victoria, the Victorian Government is requiring businesses to adopt a COVID Safe Plan. While the requirements for a COVID safe Plan only apply to participants with five or more employees, GRV recommends that all participants adopt a plan to outline how they are keeping their business COVID safe.
